Provides 24-hour telecommunications relay services for telephone customers who are Deaf and or speech impaired statewide, allowing for equal access to telephone services for people with and without TTYs. Offers TTY rentals. No income limit, but applicants must submit proof or deaness, hearing impariment, speech impairment or other communication disorder. The Relay Hawaii Equipment Program (RHEP) provides qualified applicants with communication devices for landline services.
