Maui Community Television empowers the community's voice through access to media. Akaku is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that airs content created by the community for the community. Channels 53, 54, and 55. Channel 53 or Akaku Green is the channel devoted to Government and Public Affairs. Akaku covers live County Council meetings, and replay Council Meetings and Boards and Commission meetings, all Planning Commission meetings, and other select Board and Commission meetings.
