A state agency under the Department of Human Services, Social Services Division. They provide an array of home and community based services to individuals who are severely or chronically ill and/ or disabled to prevent premature institutionalization. They provide protective services to dependent adults who are abused, neglected and/or financially exploited by others or seriously endangered due to self-neglect.
